Dalle parti di Fiumicino, la strategia dei sindacati è ormai chiara: i sindacati puntano sul commissariamento di Alitalia. Per due motivi: Gubitosi diventerebbe il commissario della compagnia ed i lavoratori avrebbero tutto da guadagnare, piuttosto che accogliere il piano lacrime e sangue previsto dal management.
Nel loro attivismo, poi, i sindacati avrebbero anche scoperto che la vecchia dirigenza di Alitalia avrebbe ceduto rotte assai redditizie ad Ethiad; fruttando, soprattutto, l’hub di Abu Dhabi.
