Nel caso ci fosse bisogno di ricordare che la Terra è un posto meraviglioso, ecco le foto dei vincitori dell’annuale premio “Landscape Photographer of the Year”. Sono quelle selezionate tra tremila scatti di 863 fotografi dai giudici che hanno avuto il difficile compito di restringere il campo e decidere chi sarebbero stati i vincitori della competizione, che chiama a raccolta i migliori fotografi specializzati nell'immortalare paesaggi. Ad aggiudicarsi il premio quest’anno è stato Adam Gibbs con un portfolio di quattro meravigliose immagini del Canada.

«Guardando il portfolio di Adam Gibbs possiamo vedere una varietà di punti di vista, un correto uso della luce e dell'inquadratura e della composizione»  hanno spiegato i giudici. La bravura di Adam è stata un complemento perfetto alla bellezza della sua terra, in particolare quella di Vancouver Island.

Ad aggiudicarsi il premio per la fotografia dell’anno è stato l’americano Paul Marcellini, che con foto di tronchi d’alberi ha creato un’illusione ottica davvero notevole.
