(ANSA) - PARIGI, 15 LUG - L'attrice e madre di Catherine Deneuve, Renée Dorléac, è morta domenica scorsa, 11 luglio, a Parigi all'età di 109 anni: è quanto annunciato oggi dalla famiglia sul quotidiano Le Figaro.

Nata a Le Havre, nel nord della Francia, il 10 settembre 1911, Renée-Jeanne Deneuve era meglio nota come Renée Simonot, il suo nome d'arte in omaggio ad un amico della madre, un artista e cantante lirico che la introdusse nel mondo del teatro. Simonot fu anche tra le prime attrici francesi a lanciarsi nel doppiaggio. Prestò la sua voce ad attrici come Olivia de Havilland, Judy Garland e Esther Williams.
