Ora vediamo se ci sono delle belle serie che non avete visto tra tutte quelle nominate per gli Emmy del 2025. E, soprattutto, se vi ricordate davvero quelle che avete visto questa stagione mezzi addormentati sul divano guardando la tv. Insomma. Finiti tutti i premi del cinema, arrivano quelli delle serie televisive. Gli importantissimi Emmy. Con le loro nuove star, tutte o quasi televisive, Bella Ramsay, Adam Scott, Pedro Pascal, che si uniscono a veterani dello spettacolo come Kathy Bates o Gary Oldman.

Vi dico subito che a nominations stravince Apple tv+. A cominciare dalle 27 a “Severance”/"Scissione", complessa serie che mi toccherà rivedere integralmente, difficile da definire, ma totalmente innovativa che il pubblico italiano ha un po’ snobbato, prodotto e in parte diretta da Ben Stiller con Adam Scott e grandi partecipazioni, come John Turturro, e dalle 23 nominations alla più divertente “The Studio” di Seth Rogen e Evan Goldberg, curioso viaggio nel mondo di un piccolo studio di Hollywood in mezzo a registi e attori importanti.

Per la prima volta Martin Scorsese sfiderà Ron Howard come guest star proprio di “The Studio". Non lo avremmo mai detto… Propongo di farne una versione italiana chiamata "Tax Credit". Apple domina sia la sezione drama sia quella comedy. Ma stravince anche la HBO, che vanta un totale di 144 nomination. 24 vanno alla violentissima “The Penguin” con Colin Farrell protagonista, ovviamente super nominato, che se la vedrà con Jake Gyllenhaal, 23 alla nuova stagione di “The White Lotus”, sempre HBO, 16 alla discussa “The Last of Us” con Pedro Pascal e 14 a “Hacks” con Jean Smart e Hannah Einbinder.

Le serie HBO da noi si vedono su Sky, dove arriverà a settembre anche "The Pitt", che vanta ben 13 nominations. Disney si può consolare con la nuova stagione di “The Bear”, la serie con Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edibiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach e Liza Colon-Zayas, che nel 2023 ha vinto 21 Emmy, e con “Andor”, che ha 14 nominations. “Only Murders in the Building” quest’anno ne ha 8. Netflix, il Netflix più popolare, segue le serie più sofisticate.

Infatti punta tutto sulla serie inglese altamente drammatica “Adolescence” scritta e interpretata da Stephen Graham,13 nominations, sulle 10 nominations di “Black Mirror” e sulle 11 della discussa ma notevolissima serie sui fratelli Menendez, “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”. Leggo che per la prima volta in 65 anni ha avuto una nomination la serie “Doctor Who”, per la “outstanding choreography” di una puntata.
