Valentina De Vecchi, soprano della Scala, si è esibita da un balcone dei palazzi mentre ballerine brasiliane con percussioni e una compagnia di danzatori peruviani si scatenavano per la strada: è stata inaugurata così, ieri sera, Toiletpaper street dreamed with Organics by by Red Bull, la prima strada interamente trasformata in un'installazione permanente di arte pubblica.

Toiletpaper, il progetto editoriale di sole immagini a firma dell'artista Maurizio Cattelan e del fotografo Pierpaolo Ferrari, ha invaso infatti via Balzaretti - in zona Città Studi - con il suo immaginario onirico e surreale.

Alcune delle grafiche più iconiche del magazine sono diventate infatti la decorazione dei palazzi che si affacciano sulla via, aggiungendosi alla prima e ormai famosa "casa con i rossetti" che ospita la sede della rivista.

Per il 'grand opening' di ieri sera si sono esibiti i Delicatoni con le loro sonorità eterogenee e multi-timbriche, la P-Funking Band, il duo milanese Eternal Love - che unisce generi differenti attraversando funk, disco, jazz e house - e Volantis & Nicodemo, artisti di primo piano nel panorama della musica elettronica.

Insieme ai fondatori di Toiletpaper, Maurizio Cattelan e Pierpaolo Ferrari, numerosi i volti noti visti allo street party, tra cui Victoria Cabello, Tommaso Sacchi, Alessia Cappello, Nina Zilli, Francesca Lavazza, Pasquale Junior Natuzzi, Miriam Lee Masciarelli, Stefano Seletti, Marcantonio, Yuri Ancarani, Job Smeets, Paula Cademartori, Gianluca Gazzoli, Eleonora Carisi, Stefano Guerrera, Johanna Maggy e Paride Vitale. La grande festa è stata animata da performance surreali:Valentina De Vecchi, soprano dal Teatro alla Scala, si è esibita da un balcone dei palazzi cantando l’Aria della Regina della Notte dal Flauto Magico di Mozart e l’Aria della Bambola Meccanica dall’opera I Racconti di Hoffmann di Jacques Offenbach,Ipanema Show, gruppo di ballerine brasiliane con percussioni,ha portato in strada effervescenti coreografie e ancora una compagnia di danzatori peruvianiha sorpreso il pubblico con balli tradizionali.
