Tutto era iniziato con un post anonimo su un forum di fan qualche giorno fa, in cui si parlava della possibile uscita di un nuovo album di Bruce Springsteen. E tanto era bastato per mettere in agitazione l'enorme pubblico del Boss.

Ora è arrivata la conferma ufficiale: il 23 settembre, giorno del compleanno numero 66 dell'artista, arriverà Chapter and verse, concepito come accompagnamento musicale all'attesissima autobiografia della rockstar, Born to run, pubblicata in Italia il 27 settembre da Mondadori.

Chapter and verse conterrà 18 brani, di cui cinque inediti, che abbracciano tutta la carriera dell'artista: da due tracce registrate con The Castiles, la prima band di Springsteen, allora teenager, fino alla canzone che dava il titolo all'album del 2012 Wrecking Ball.

BORN TO RUN AUTOBIOGRAFIA SPRINGSTEEN

Nell'album anche i due demo di Henry Boy e Growin' up del 1972, registrati prima della realizzazione del disco di debutto Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.

Springsteen ha lavorato alla sua autobiografia negli ultimi sette anni. Oltre 500 pagine nella sua edizione in inglese, il libro sarà pubblicato contemporaneamente in tutto il mondo.
