    E’ una delle immagini più rappresentative di come la plastica che buttiamo in mare confonda e danneggi la flora marina: un cavalluccio attorcigliato a un cotton fioc. E’ uno degli scatti arrivati in finale alla Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition che mostra la meraviglia, e allo stesso tempo, la fragilità della natura.

     

    Proprio i cotton fioc sono una delle minacce più pericolose per gli animali come ha detto anche la Marine Conservation Society che ne ha ritrovati 13.500 su una singola spiaggia. Dopo essere scaricati nel wc finiscono in mare al punto che alcune grandi catene come Waitrose e Johnson & Jonhnson ad annunciare il passaggio dalla plastica alla carta.
